SmarteRita vs SkinnyGirl Margarita

The following is Dangerous Lee’s opinion of 100 calorie SmarteRita made with Silver Tequila, Agave Nectar, Sucralose, Triple Sex & All Natural Flavors vs the SkinnyGirl Margarita made with Blue Agave Tequila, Natural Flavor and Caramel Color. She was not compensated for her views.

SmarteRita definitely has a better taste than the SkinnyGirl Margarita, but because I am not a huge fan of tequila neither are something that I would normally drink. But, if I had to choose it would be the SmarteRita. I mixed it with crushed ice and covered the rim of my margarita glass in natural lime margarita salt and had a cool soothing drink that gave me a nice buzz. Sugar in place of the margarita salt or nothing at all made for an even better tasting drink!

The SkinnyGirl Margarita was absolutely awful, downright nasty. In alcoholic terms it’s dry and harsh (is harsh a drinking term? Oh well, it was!) I even offered some to a male friend of mine, UncleFletcha, and he stated that it was, “Nasty as hell”! So, there you have it…even guys prefer SmarteRita!
